Put some clothes on..

"Alex.. Put some clothes on."

5 minutes later I come back.. Every article of clothing he owns is on the floor and I still have a naked Alex.

"Alex.. Put some clothes on."

5 minutes later.. All his books are all over the floor and he is sitting reading naked.

"Alex's put some clothes on."

5 minutes later... His faux tree is knocked over on the books and piles of clothes.

About to tear my hair out and wondering if there is a such thing of shake a toddler syndrome...  I hear him from his room.. "Mama... I'm sorry!  I'm sorry Mama.  I put clothes on."

Comes out in a shirt and underwear...

I'll take it.

Take that and a toddler who is feeding his baby sister dog food and that she is now going through "the toilet is the greatest thing" phase... People wonder why kids drive parents crazy...

Starting to lose it...

The reflux is killing me.  The medication may help her throw up once or twice a day, rather than the 3 to 4 times a day.  The medication has helped breastfeeding, she's not rejecting me as much, but I sometimes wonder if breastfeeding is part of the issue.  :(. I'm so tired of wearing puke and changing my clothes.  I just want her to feel better.

Day in the life of a parent..

Ari poops... You don't know how bad it is...You lift her to burp her... And you hear a splash, you realize she just threw up all over your back.. Just then the timer goes off for the roast chicken for the meal train.. What do you do?!?  Haha.. 😂

I love being a parent. 😄

First Grocery Store Trip

Today was the last day of Bible Study for a month.  Gina and Allison are having their babies next week.  Allison is having her baby girl on Monday and Gina is having her baby boy on Tuesday.  My phone died and I left it at Gina's house.  Both kids napped for 3 hours, so it was quite a long time before I got it back, but it was such a nice break.  I then took both kids for our first trip to the grocery store.  I put the carrier on the cart and Alex hopped on the side.  It went pretty well.  Although, I know many people feel carriers should never be put on the cart, I never leave her alone, so normally I'm not that worried about it.  But the carts at Sprouts are smaller.  So I was more afraid of something happening to her.  And with Alex jumping on and off he cart, it was less stable.  So I'll be wearing her in the Ergo  in the future.

Highest Compliment

She's growing

Last night Ariana was able to pull and put her pacifier back in her mouth.  Today, as I was looking at my phone, she reached up and touched my lips.  It's so amazing how fast she'd changing.  Unfortunately she's learned how to squeal now and squeals are starting to replace her adorable cooing, but she's smiling so much more and she's more interactive which has been so much fun.  I do miss bonding connection a newborn has with her mother, but occasionally I can still feel it.  I still love running my lips over her peach fuzz hair. :)

Worries Diminished

When I was pregnant I was so scared how Alex was going to handle having a baby in the house.

I am so happy and releaved!  He is so loving.  He helps her with her pacifier and wants to make her smile.  I was worried he would be bored with because she can't do much.  But he's been fantastic.

Was making dinner.. Went to the bathroom... When I came out, this what I saw..

Was cooking dinner.. Looked over.. And was reading her a book.

I couldn't be happier. 😍
